Abstract

In the terminology of Economics, the term ”capital” is one of the factors of production. As opposed to other factors such as land and labour, capital has a special significance: as it comes into existence by means of economic ativity it can be basis of further production. Economic data justify the fact that apart from the division of labour, capital ownership was the major motive of social differentiation.
