Absztrakt

A tanulmány a koronavírus pandémia és a vele kapcsolatban kialakult válság menedzselésének társadalmi-gazdasági előzményeit, a neoliberális gazdaságpolitika alapelveit felrúgó korábbi válságkezeléseket, a COVID-időszak legfontosabb hibáit és tanulságait vizsgálja, továbbá azt, hogyan juthatott el a fejlett országok többsége az addig felhalmozott orvosi tudás, valamint az érvényben lévő jogi, társadalmi és etikai normák szinte teljes feladásáig csupán azért, hogy megbirkózzon egy új vírussal. Két hasonló fejlettségű uniós ország példáján bemutatja, milyen jelentőséggel bírhat a válság leküzdésében, hogy a cél érdekében korlátozzák-e, és ha igen mennyire, az emberek szabadságjogait. A tanulmány, a COVID-válság komplexitásából adódóan, a társadalmi-gazdasági folyamatok vizsgálatát összekötötte az orvostudomány eredményeinek minél teljesebb feldolgozásával.
