Abstract

The paper introduces Jean-Luc Nancy and Michel Serres as two philosophers of the perpetual and spontaneous rebeginning of philosophy: always in the process of inventing itself, branching off, mutating, and escaping,  spurring the spirit towards continuous renewal. Nancy and Serres, two whimsically energetic, creative, innovative thinkers, both take into account, even rely in their philosophies on the parasitic procedures that tend to reorganize the structures of western culture. In this paper, these parasitic procedures come to the fore, as one of the most important aspects of innovation and creation.
