Abstract

Talent development in kindergarten is a particularly important area of early childhood education, as the preschool age is one of the most sensitive and dynamic developmental stages in young children’s lives. During this period, children learn quickly, are curious about the world, and their outstanding abilities in various areas—such as intellectual, creative, artistic or motor talent areas—can be demonstrated. In our study, we seek to answer the question: how can ICT tools be included in the process of talent development in kindergarten?

Our study presents a new approach that places preschool giftedness on an ICT-based methodological foundation. The joint examination of talent development and the use of digital devices is currently an under-researched area; however, we believe that it is extremely relevant from a practical point of view.
