Abstract

This article explores the potential of drama pedagogy in history education. How does it support the development of students’ historical empathy? What impact do role-playing and simulations have on students’ understanding and motivation? Which methods can be used to integrate dramatic activities into classroom lessons without compromising the structured coverage of the curriculum? These questions are examined through practical examples and research, demonstrating how drama pedagogy can make history teaching and learning more engaging, interactive, and effective.
