Abstract
I have been teaching English for years, and have experienced how the changing world around us challenges participants in education. It is a challenge, and not just for teachers, to always be willing to engage in renewal. It is also a challenge for the students who belong to generations Z and Alpha, and this makes cooperation difficult. The significance of group dynamics as a requirement for the successful acquisition of useful knowledge is unquestionable but at the same time, it is the teachers’ responsibility to create an appropriate atmosphere for learning in a classroom. The challenges to be faced are: How to make into a team teenagers who feel only comfortable alone, in their own world? What factors underly this behavioural trend? How is it possible to convince teenagers to put more energy into learning? How can achieve all these goals simultaneously? How can students be persuaded to engage in the never-ending cooperative adventure of education? I invite readers to join me seeking solutions to these problems via some games that I offer to try.
